This project will bring together a semester's worth of inquiry into the past, present, and possible futures of innovation in higher education. Students in the course Innovation in Context are working in teams to investigate questions of feasibility, viability, and desirability of networked higher education. They are drawing on published sources, interviews, ethnographic observations, and historical document. They are attempting to understand how responses to the pandemic build on prior energy to create networked education, what the realities of that education are, and what the future might and should look like related to that work. At semester's end, they will hold three debates on these topics.
