At our exhibit, you will learn how we use the “Wiz-of-Oz” method to present various types of in-vehicle intelligent agents–“J.A.R.V.I.S” in the car and what their influences are on driving behaviors and drivers’ perception towards them. You’ll have a chance to interact with robots we used in the project!

We formulated speech messages for the intelligent agents and designed the driving scenarios with various events where agents can play their “J.A.R.V.I.S” roles. A driving simulator with a 270˚ field of view and two humanoid robots were used to craft the testing environment. Engineering psychologists, auditory experts, system engineers, and information technology technicians have actively engaged in this project to make it awesome.
