The Synchrony Project

The Synchrony Project investigates how musicians create and maintain neural and musical coordination when performing with technology-augmented instruments. By measuring brainwave activity and musical data during performances that bridge acoustic and electronic elements, our research explores how different levels of technological mediation affect performer synchronization. This study connects neuroscience, music performance, and technology to understand how human connection persists across technological boundaries, culminating in public performances that demonstrate our findings through both scientific presentation and artistic expression.
