Halloween Slime Monsters
Biochemistry Club • Biochemistry Graduate Student Association
You’ve heard of solids, liquids, and gasses, but what about things like slime? You can hold it in your hand like a solid, but it conforms to containers like a liquid. The molecules in things like slime are long polymers, which makes them bend like liquids but also can act like solids. To demonstrate these molecules, we’re going to make slime monsters! To follow along at home, all you need is water, glue, borax, and food coloring. Add glitter and googly eyes to turn your polymers into a monster!
