Cinema Lab

As the name implies, the Cinema lab is equipped with cutting-edge technology to support creative visual endeavors in cinema, virtual reality, and video game design. The lab offers seventeen PCs featuring high-performance Alienware machines, along with one Mac. The lab also has six virtual reality headsets, Vive Pros from 2019, and three base stations. To showcase work, the lab features two overhead projectors with projection screens on opposite walls and two speaker monitors for optimal sound quality.

Whether delving into virtual reality or interested in video game development, the cinema lab is the optimal environment for your creative visual projects. The classroom layout fosters collaboration and discussion, with computers arranged around the edge, forming a circle.

From virtual reality experiences to video game design, any class or project requiring the use of our 17 PCs is welcome here. Anyone can utilize the Cinema lab, provided they receive prior permission from ICAT.
