Immersive Haptic VR Experience of Building Performance in Sheikh Isa’s House

Step inside a historical Bahraini home and feel its past, present, and future climates. Through virtual reality, haptic feedback, and immersive audio, visitors will experience wind and the sensation of touching the walls—shaped by time and climate change.

We integrated climate data and building performance simulations with virtual reality. Technologies like Meta Quest 3, bHaptics TactSuit X40, and the TactGlove DK2 allowed us to simulate wind and the sensation of touching walls. Architecture, environmental science, and VR development all shaped this experience.
