ICAT Playdate — Intro to Immersive Multimedia: Winter 2023

During the 2023 Winter Session, ICAT partnered with the College of Architecture, Arts, and Design to offer a hands-on, workshop-style course in ICAT’s flagship facility, the Cube. An interdisciplinary class of students learned how to use advanced immersive hardware and software technologies and their applications—including immersive digital video, spatial audio, and other sensor-based, interactive technologies. The class will present their final projects, and talk about the systems they used and the challenges they faced in bringing their ideas to life.
