Robot Musical Theater is a novel approach to engaging children and youth in Science, Engineering, Art and Design (SEAD) education. The goal of the program is to teach fundamentals of robotics such as controls and basic programming as well as the fundamentals of putting on a theater such as art, music and acting. We have integrated these concepts so that students can learn complex skills while still being able to exercise creativity and have fun in an informal learning environment. We hope that this program will increase interest in SEAD, robotics, as well as the arts so that we can inspire the next generation of creative thinkers.
