Funded by the Commonwealth Cyber Initiative's Art + Design Program, the Tesseract is a mobile high density loudspeaker array intended to turn cybersecurity data into sound. This process, called sonification, can be used to interpret complex data in a way that takes advantage of innate human auditory capabilities, such as pattern detection, anomaly detection, and localization of sounds. Join Tanner Upthegrove, Brandon Hale, Charlie Duff, and Woohun Joo as they demonstrate and discuss the intersection of human hearing, cybersecurity data sets, and audio technology which can travel to a venue near you.
