Tim Baird
Tim Baird is an associate professor in the Department of Geography and the Faculty Principal of the Creativity and Innovation District Living-Learning Community. Tim has a BA in Economics from Bowdoin College and a PhD in Geography from the University of North Carolina. He studies pastoralist livelihoods in East Africa, especially technology adoption, and he leads the BUILD research group at ICAT, which integrates social and technological tools to understand space-place dynamics in shared indoor environments.
