ICAT Events
Throughout the year, the Institute for Creativity, Arts, and Technology (ICAT) hosts events that showcase our faculty and student projects.
Our events support two of ICAT's research goals by engaging communities at Virginia Tech and southwest Virginia and by amplifying the arts through public events. We encourage you to stay tuned - our events are the best way to get involved with ICAT.
Playdates
The most frequent events we host are the Playdates. They usually take place every Friday at 9:00 AM in the lobby of the Creativity and Innovation District Residence Hall (CID) on 185 Kent St., or you can find us online via our Playdate livestreams. If you miss a playdate, no worries. All Playdates after the live stream are immediately uploaded to their event page alongside previous Playdates and on our YouTube channel. Stay updated with Playdates by subscribing to our email newsletter and our YouTube channel.
