Science is bigger than you think!

Exhibitor Information

Looking for the exhibitor list?

Be a part of the Virginia Tech Science Festival this fall. Share your love for science with kids, young adults, old adults, and peers.

Science is bigger than you think! Help us blast away the stereotypes of science. You belong at the Virginia Tech Science Festival if you collect data, make observations, and draw conclusions about any topic, including social processes, market behavior, health and nutrition, and history, among other things. You belong if you are making something new and trying new things to see how they work. You belong if you can help learners understand skills of science, like coding, math, and observation.

The festival is an expo style event attended by 4000-6000 people, many of them children between the ages of 5 and 15. The festival is an opportunity to share your love of science - any kind of science - with kids and families from nearby communities and across the state.

Your hands on experience should be designed to share your work with kids and adults and get them excited about doing science.

Why exhibit at the Virginia Tech Science Festival?

  • share the joy
  • see your work through the eyes of a child (and lots of other perspectives)
  • hone science communication by sharing iteratively with a lay audience
  • increase public awareness of your work
  • be a part of the biggest STEM celebration in Blacksburg

Don't take our word for it. Check out this VTSuN blog entry about their experience at VSF 2014.
