TEDxVirginiaTech will take place on Saturday, November 9th, from 8:00am4:00pm in the new Center for the Arts at Virginia Tech. Join us as 16 speakers from around the university and community give their "talk of a lifetime" on this year’s theme – Beyond Boundaries.

Boundary-pushers are the driving force in the advancement of society, technology, arts, politics, science, entertainment, and design. The vision of TEDxVirginiaTech 2013 is to capture and showcase those who push the envelope in our community.

Intentionally broad, the theme is meant to inspire multidisciplinary and transformative ideas in line with the principles of TED, a nonprofit organization devoted to ideas worth spreading.

TEDxVirginiaTech is coordinated by the Center for Instructional Development and Educational Research (CIDER), the Institute for Creativity, Arts, and Technology (ICAT), and University Relations. Representatives of these departments comprise the TEDxVirginiaTech Executive Committee.
