Four Four Beat Project

Speaker: Jocelyn Wilson, School of Education

The Four Four Beat Project is a digital pedagogies initiative seeded by ICAT and the School of Education. It is rooted in the restoration, preservation, and digitization of original hip hop-based cultural artifacts for K-12 and post-secondary educational purposes. Boasting the first hip hop archive located at an institute of technology in the American South, our mission is to become the “Quik-Trip” of hip hop-based educational research.

"Community Playdates" are open discussions of topics and ideas from ICAT, Virginia Tech, and the community. We welcome any interested students, faculty, and community members to join these discussions, and enjoy coffee/pastries from the Next Door Bake Shop!
