Raspberry Pi Maker Workshop

Monday, March 4, 2013 - 5:00pm

The Raspberry Pi MAKEr Workshop is led by Joe Deken, PhD, of New Blankets, Inc., a non-profit organization that develops new technologies and new participation mechanisms. The Raspberry Pi is a credit-card sized computer that plugs into a TV or a keyboard. It’s a capable little PC that can be used for many of the things that a desktop PC does, like spreadsheets, word-processing, and games. It also plays high-definition video. This workshop instructs participants how to install software on the Raspberry Pi. Participants leave with a working prototype.
